It doesn't work very well with ati and fglrx drivers, but I can't say
the same thing for radeon, and I'm talking about the 92x0 chipset,
which I have too. This is because EXA's main developer owns a 9200, so
it's the best tested chipset. I didn't have any performance issues,
and glxgears is stable around 750 fps...
However, on a 9700 mobile (chipset M10) it is slow and buggy, so you're right.

Maybe I'll take a look if I have the time. Do you have any PKGBUILDs
to share, or pointers to documentation about how to make up the whole
