Depends on many factors. Usually Kingston ValueRAM works fine on all
boards, but some boards can have compatibility issues.
A long while ago I had systems based on SiS746FX and SiS748 chipsets.
After stuffing 3 sticks of RAM in it, programs started to segfault at
random, compiles aborted, etc. My boards couldn't handle 3 sticks of
doublesided RAM. Memtest didn't fail, because that program doesn't
stress the memory as much as a kernel or KDE/Qt compile would do.

What specs does your system have?
