Depends on many factors. Usually Kingston ValueRAM works fine on all boards, but some boards can have compatibility issues. A long while ago I had systems based on SiS746FX and SiS748 chipsets. After stuffing 3 sticks of RAM in it, programs started to segfault at random, compiles aborted, etc. My boards couldn't handle 3 sticks of doublesided RAM. Memtest didn't fail, because that program doesn't stress the memory as much as a kernel or KDE/Qt compile would do. What specs does your system have? _______________________________________________ arch mailing list arch@archlinux.org http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
