Hi!

(resending the message via Gmane, 1st time it did not go through..)

Here is the list of aspell dictionaries available in AUR:

aspell-be 0.01-2 Belarusian dictionary for aspell
aspell-ca 20040130-2 Catalan dictionary for aspell

aspell-da 1.4.62-1 Danish dictionary for aspell
aspell-et 0.1.21-1 Estonian dictionary for aspell

aspell-sk 0.52-3 Slovak dictionary for aspell
aspell-sv 0.51-1 Swedish dictionary for aspell
aspell-uk 1.4.0-1 Ukrainian dictionary for aspell

By taking a look at aspell dictionaries available in AUR (do search on
'aspell' at http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php), we see that there
are dictionaries for 16 languages available, 15 belong to 'office'
category and the one is in 'i18n', so it would be nice to put them all
in the same category first.

Next, from the above 16 aspell-dictionaries, only three (aspell-cs,
aspell-da & aspell-nb) have >= 10 votes, so this is a humble call for
all i18n-arch users to become (more) aware of dictionaries and vote for
them so they could be included in 'community' 'cause there is only one
aspell dictionary (aspell-pl with 6 votes)) which is included in
community :-(

The pkgbuilds for dictionaries are not hard to maintain and we hope
that by some little effort we can get some TUs to review them, users to
vote for them, so that our beloved distro can include better suport for
aspell-dictionaries.

Sincerely,
Gour
