Hm, I was going to report that the other day, but I failed to find a good
reference for it, like an upstream bug report. Though there is the post on
the ML, which might be good enough :

So, if I understand correctly, you can either disable hal with
--disable-config-hal , or disable dmx with --disable-dmx , and it should
build properly.

This doesn't happen when hal is not installed (hal support is not enabled in
this case), which probably explains why not everyone notices it.
