Dear all, I am pleased to send you the cfp for the Cultural Heritage workshop (http://www.iabeni.enea.it/roma2007/roma2007.htm) which is organised within the 10th congress of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (Rome, September 10-13, 2007).
Below some details. Thank you, Glauco Mantegari Aim: The 2007 Cultural Heritage Workshop continues the series of four successful Cultural Heritage Workshops started at the AI*IA 99 6th Congress. This event must, once again, be seen as one in a series of actions undertaken to promote an increasingly more active collaboration between the sectors of cultural assets and artificial intelligence. Thus the main objective remains that of bringing together academic and research bodies, industries and firms involved in developing new technological solutions in the cultural asset sector, in order to catalyse possible interaction and aggregation between the different agents and to constitute a community of institutions which together will be able to tackle this new challenge. To reach this goal the topics will include experiences in the use of innovative technologies/methods and how to take best advantage to integrate the results obtained to build up new tools and/or experiences as well as improved methodologies for documenting, managing and communicating Cultural Heritage. Topics: Authors are invited to submit works dealing either with methodological or application solutions pointing out the real possible uses and applications of methods and of tools of the artificial intelligence in the field of the cultural heritage.
