Hey everyone, congratulations! The Arches Project has been accepted as
a Google Summer of Code 2014 organization:

  http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/org2/google/gsoc2014/arches

Let's do what we can to get some good student applicants -- here's how:

1) If you're at an academic institution, please make sure the computer
science department knows its students can apply to work with Arches
this summer. Also, if there's an open source club, or a Linux users
group, or other things like that on campus, let them know too.

2) If you yourself work with students who are interested in cultural
heritage and have some coding skills, let them know about this.

3) Tweet it. (I'm sure @ArchesProject will put out a tweet soon, so you
can just retweet that when it comes out.)

4) If you use IRC (or want to start -- see irchelp.org), please come
join us in #arches on the irc.freenode.net IRC network. Especially
Arches developers please hang out there, since students may pop in to
the channel and ask questions, while they're considering applying.

(More ideas welcome...)
