Hello, Mentors, I just submitted my proposal for the *Workflow for Uploading GIS Shapefiles*and provide a simple solution at https://github.com/xbwei/Arches.
Since I prefer to use PostGIS to handle the spatial data in PostSQL, this solution is able to import/export a shapefile into a PostSQL table directly.
