Recently a couple of folks have asked (and there have certainly been a few
in the past) about how to go from a local development installation of
Arches to a remotely hosted app that is served through the internet. There
are a few different steps involved in this, so I thought it would be useful
to add some documentation on the most common ones, using Amazon Web
Services as an example of where you can host your app, and Apache as a web
server. You can find this information in the Arches-HIP documentation
<http://arches-hip.readthedocs.io/en/latest/>, the Extra > Production
Configuration section. You will need to be comfortable with the command
line interface to follow along, and if any you need clarification on any
steps, don't hesitate to ask! Ultimately, you will need someone with
server administration experience to manage your app when it is in
production, but this will help you get started...

Also, if any experienced users have tips or shortcuts, please feel free to
chime in.
