Hi Hiba,
The key to adding other nodes is to create branches and then add those to the
root node.

So in essence you create a branch which has, as its own root node, the first
node you are wanting to associate with the root node of a resource.

The good thing about this approach is that once you’ve created a branch you can
re-use the same branch in as many different resources as you like.

I hope this helps

Subject: [Arches] Adding nodes to resource graph

Hi all,

I have two questions

Currently I'm trying to create a resource graph using arches version 4 , I
created the root node and the required nodes that related to the root node.

Question 1 : How can I add nodes to other nodes but not the root ? I tried but
it doesn't add the node .

It shows the following message: "cant append a graph to a resource except at
the root".

Question 2: How can I add a new list of drop down menus which not listed in the
arches data management?

Thanks a lot
hiba
