I requested for these meeting notes because I came to know that the login prompt was previously there and then removed. When I first tried to use the AF perspective it took minutes for me to figure out how to login. That icon was not very helpful.
By going through the review notes, I see that if the credentials are not saved, it interrupts the startup of Eclipse. But it does not explain how, so I don't have any idea about it. But, IMO, removing the login prompt is a big hit for the usability. If we can't put it back, there should be a compensation to let the user know about it. It may be there in the doc. But this kind of a thing should be pretty straightforward.
