We are pleased to announce the WSO2 EMM 2.1.0 - Milestone 3 release. It contains the following new features and improvements.
New Features Added in this Release
- Alert mechanism to report critical events on Android devices - Android
agent is capable of sending out critical events to WSO2 DAS server and new
event listeners can be plugged in to the Android agent.
- App catalog application implementation - Catalog application for
Android provides an easy way for users to browse the app store and
install/uninstall the applications.
- Silent mode app installation/updates - With the help of the service
application it is now possible to install/uninstall/update applications
silently, making it ideal for the COPE scenario.
- Ability to support whitelisting/blacklisting of apps - Application
policies can be defined to blacklist/whitelist applications on a device.
- Boot image management - Schedule firmware updates with WSO2 EMM,
making it easier for administrators to push updates to devices when the
device is idle.
- Scheduled App Install, Uninstall and Update - Allows administrators to
schedule and push application updates to devices when the device is idle.
