If you are able to share some high level details about your use case I
think we will be in a better position to give specific feedback.

In general, if you have a third party Identity provider and if you use it
as KM ([1]), you would not miss any vital features of KM.
However, there are many IS features that could be valuable for your use
case or any future use cases. Please refer [2].
