Hey Everyone! Our development team has been having some issues with certain SNAPSHOTs deployed to Archiva being invalid. Meaning, the artifact page doesn't display or the *.jar is not available for download (if using Archiva version previous to 1.0-alpha-2). I haven't been able to figure what was causing it out until now. The SNAPSHOT poms seem to have an 'invalid' <version>?
Example: 'persistence-lib-1.0-20070523.040036-2.pom' has a <version> of 1.0-SNAPSHOT. This produces the error further below. I believe the version is not being set correctly during deploy but am unsure of why. If I manually change the version and re-index in Archiva, all seems to be well. Is this an Archiva issue or Maven deploy issue? Seems to me that's it's a maven issue. Could the combination of 'deploy | site-deploy' be part of it?
