I am facing same scenario here at work, but its more so from maven's dependency resolution's perspective.

Just thinking out loud - Are builds with internal repos/proxies not reproducible? What is/are possible downsides of not having SVN store binary artifacts?

Some people insist on having binaries/dependencies in under version
control, and there are good arguments for it, particularly around
reproducible builds.  (See occasional threads on [EMAIL PROTECTED])  It
would be nice to be able to support it.
