Thanks for your thoughts, Jordon. No, I’m not using anything custom-made (or customized) for my PUI. I’m on version 1.5.4 currently, and will be upgrading to 2.0.1 in a couple of weeks.
I’m a lone arranger, and I use LibraryHost to host my instance of ArchivesSpace. I’m more of a “user” than a “manipulator” of data, and I’ve never had any experience with XSLT-anything, so I am pretty much bound to whatever the application offers. It does seem odd to me that there isn’t a way to do batch processing/editing when doing instances/containers, but maybe that’s my ignorance showing. It would be great if there were a rapid data entry equivalent (someday) for this. I’m just glad to know that I’m understanding and applying the concepts correctly, even if they look a bit wonky right now.
