Try updating the two responsive classes each to just col-6 and see if that
works. Perhaps you were looking at a viewport that was less than the md
breakpoint?

Subject: Re: [Archivesspace_Users_Group] ASpace, Bootstrap?

Thanks Brian and Kevin!

For some reason, I cannot get the simplest Bootstrap 3 code to work in my
ASpace. Columns just are not rendering.

So something simple like this:

<div class="container-fluid">

   <div class="row">

       <div class="col-md-6">
          COLUMN ONE
       </div>

       <div class="col-md-6">
          COLUMN TWO
       </div>

   </div>

</div>

Is not working. Columns render as rows, stacked on top one another.

Do you have a working example of use of Columns in your ASpace you might share?

Much appreciated,

Mark

All,

I have a question: Does the current version of ASpace include Bootstrap?

I ask because when I Inspect, say, the footer in the ASpace Sandbox
(https://sandbox.archivesspace.org/) I see things like:

  <div class="row">
     <div class="col-md-12">
       <p class="footer-items"><a
href="https://sandbox.archivesspace.org/staff/";<https://sandbox.archivesspace.org/staff/>>Staff
 Interface</a>
         | Visit <a
href="http://archivesspace.org";<http://archivesspace.org>>ArchivesSpace.org</a>
         | v3.3.1
          | <a id="aspaceFeedbackLink"
href="https://archivesspace.org/contact";<https://archivesspace.org/contact>
target="_blank">Send Feedback or Report a Problem</a></p>
     </div>
  </div>

Looks like Bootstrap rows and columns to me!

And yet, when I look to see what files are actually coming over the Network, in
my Inspector, I do not see any mention of the Bootstrap CSS and JS files.

I ask because I want to simply plug some text into our Footer and thought I'd
just break a Bootstrap Row there into two Cols.

But no joy! My Col div directives appear to be completely ignored. (All works
great in a template on my local workstation, but I'm loading the CDN versions
of Bootstrap CSS and JS there...)

Does the current version of ASpace include Bootstrap? If so, which version of
Bootstrap?

Puzzled,
And Thanks!

Mark
