Has anyone encountered an "unknown file format" error message lately when trying to import TIF files into Ariel? Over the past few days we have received that error message in Ariel when trying to import TIFs that were converted using DocMorph from Multi-Fly PDF output (i.e., from microfiche). DocMorph-converted TIFs that originated from a regular scanner (not Multi-Fly) are importing just fine, and Multi-Fly output converted to TIF using a printer driver (Microsoft Office Document Image Writer) instead of DocMorph are importing just fine. File size does not appear to be a factor, and this was not a problem until last week. Any assistance or input would be appreciated! Fortunately we have the printer driver workaround, but we'd still like to know what's going on!
