Edward, I've experienced the 'disk full' message when we inadvertently tried to send a file that was too large because of the way it was scanned. Mary Glynn Shepherd wrote: "Disk full" is a generic Ariel message which translates to "cannot communicate". Somewhere between the two machines is a blockage. Quite often it is a firewall problem with a port being blocked. If you are receiving articles from other machines it sounds like a problem at their end (my guess).
