Although there are still over 800 subscribers to ARIE-L, there have been no postings to the list in
over 2 months.
During that time, I've had to deal with a daily flood of spam to list related addresses. This is
becoming a burden when there is so little legitimate traffic to the list.
Therefore, effective July 1, 2014 I intend to put the list on "auto-pilot".
ARIE-L will continue to exist. Registered subscribers will still be able to post to the list using
the [email protected] address.
I will try to watch for Ariel related messages that require intervention, though most of what ends
up in that queue is spam.
Message sent to any other address (arie-l-bounces, arie-l-request, etc) will be
ignored.
If you need assistance posting to the list or cancelling your subscription, feel free to contact me
directly at the address below.
I will revisit this policy at the end of the year. Depending on list traffic and the number of
subscribers at that point, I may consider shutting down the list entirely.
