ARIN will soon issue a call for nominations for the 2009 Board of Trustees and Advisory Council elections.
The Nomination Committee shall be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and certifying a properly selected slate of Trustee and Advisory Council Candidates to be placed in nomination before the membership for election. (Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 2.a.) NomCom business is conducted via teleconference. The responsibilities of the Committee are explained in the Bylaws at: https://www.arin.net/about_us/corp_docs/bylaws.html The NomCom consists of two (2) representatives from the Board of Trustees, two (2) representatives from the Advisory Council, and three (3) representatives from ARIN General Members in good standing. General Member in good standing is defined at: https://www.arin.net/participate/membership/member.html We are currently seeking three (3) volunteer General Members in good standing to serve on the Committee. Please note that candidates for this year's Board of Trustees and Advisory Council elections are not eligible to serve on the NomCom. If you are willing to serve, please submit your name, e-mail address, ARIN member organization name, and ORG ID to [email protected] no later than 17:00 ET on Tuesday, July 14 2009. Three eligible member volunteers will be randomly selected to serve on the Committee.
