It is easy to see why you and Mike would kick back on option 3 as it would result in less business for your company (IP Trading). That being said, it is the clear winner to accelerate an unbiased distribution of future resources.

I think that would be the appropriate way to discuss it. And your underlying assumption that our business needs drive our policy positions is incorrect. Tom’s policy, should it be passed, could lead to less business for us. Think about it, most transfers are of smaller blocks, and this would allow a single recovered /16 to answer the needs of 64 waiting list members. Imagine the waiting list answering the needs of more recipients in a more timely manner. That doesn’t augur well for our business. Regards, Mike Burns
