The AC has abandoned the following Draft Policies:

* ARIN-2019-2: Waiting List Block Size Restriction
* ARIN-2019-7: Elimination of the Waiting List

Regarding Draft Policy ARIN-2019-2, an AC statement will be published alongside the Advisory Council meeting minutes in the coming week.

Regarding Draft Policy ARIN-2019-7, the AC provided the following statement:

"Due to a majority of community members indicating they are opposed to Draft Policy 2019-7 during the April Public Policy Meeting and on PPML, the AC has voted to abandon the proposal."

Anyone dissatisfied with these decisions may initiate a petition. The deadline to begin a petition will be five business days after the AC's draft meeting minutes are published.

The minutes from the ARIN Advisory Council's 20 June 2019 meeting have been published:

Regarding Draft Policy ARIN-2019-2, the AC provided the following statement:

"The AC has abandoned 2019-2 now that the Board of Trustees has accepted the AC’s recommendation to reinstate the wait-list. Additional work on future changes to the wait-list policy can proceed under other proposals."

The petition deadline for both Draft Policy ARIN-2019-2 and Draft Policy ARIN-2019-7 is 10 July (in five calendar days).
