 ... yeah: which is why i added the bit about the hardware-virtualised
guest *not* being permitted to have any kind of influence *outside* of
the guest VM (such as, for example, "if it ain't running the video
stops working" - that sort of thing).

 is there a way that you think that could be made clearer?
