Yes - most of my installs have been done by copying the image to the sd
card onto which I then install OpenBSD - then to boot angstrom I just
remove the sd card.
I second this. I've successfully installed OpenBSD to the same external
SD card that I booted from. The internal flash memory is unaccessible
at this time.
