Thank you for your reply Juan. I did know it is called sunxi, the linux kernel tree is uses is called linux-sunxi, and I saw the files named bsd.rd.SUNXI in the current directory in an OpenBSD mirror under armv7.
And I even glanced at the cables you found, figuring I would need one of them for serial access, but I wasn't sure of any of it and wanted to ask in case someone else has tried.
