Jake,
It seems that arm base is not stable enough to justify the effort of
making packages at this time. We plan to focus on improving stability and
performance of the base system for now, and hope that things improve quickly so
that we can start providing arm packages again in the near future.
Fear of emulation as a distraction, and the lack of low cost server (or
even desktop) class arm hardware means that offers to donate small items are
not necessarily going to help this phase of development. We will continue to
encourage our talented, if someone ornery, kernel hackers to push forward on
this technical and difficult phase of development. Please join them by
compiling, hacking, and submitting patches if you are so able.
ED.
