Hi and thank you, I have tried (details beneath) but the output on the console remains the same. Note: is it normal that both u-boot-rockchip.bin in the amd64 and aarch64 packages repositories have a different hash ?! (I've tried with both)
 $ sha256sum firefly-rk3399*/u-boot-rockchip.bin
73fee053e8d7762e91f7743d46d424475bd9a19e86e9868af8bbc217e2081d1a firefly-rk3399 (1)/u-boot-rockchip.bin #aarch64 35b605cf90f5c8ce1d0f8f8b26b03b3f0b00d77015e380b0fa7c9e685d0a5874 firefly-rk3399/u-boot-rockchip.bin #amd64

I'm worn out at this point ... perhaps someone else that managed might remember how to "erase the emmc" from Linux on the SoC ?

Please follow these steps and report the output from the serial console:

0. Forget everything you have (incorrectly) learned up to this point.

Sure

1. Connect to the serial console at a baud rate of 115200bps. (Note: 115200bps is an exception required only when using U-Boot from the OpenBSD package).

Are you sure ? This speed outputs only gibberish.

2. Flash u-boot-rockchip.bin to offset 64 of the SD card, and then insert it into the SD card slot.

Done this.

3. Power on the device after disabling (the bootloader on) the eMMC. As a temporary method, please short TP31/32.

Note: This procedure should be effective even for boards that have been bricked.

And how may I disable the bootloader on the eMMC ? I've "pinned" TP31/32 as I understood i.e. inserting pins connecting both, using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G0I0ZZK

Best regards,

So I got a new RK3399. I have done everything I expected but it won't boot the openbsd SD card yet.

Upon receiving the card I plugged in and attempted :

Should I understand that the last attempt worked ? ...
