silly q.  did you disable secure-boot in the bios ?

i had played with it back in the 7.2/7.3 era - but when my original laptop
fell in the water - the unit i got back had a slightly-different processor
and so the boot process didnt recognize it...  technically, im typing (from
win11) on it atm - so i could try again - but just thought id ask the
semi-obvious q.  (secure-boot) to make sure...
