Flight. Centuries of persecution has made Jews flee a territory many times. The smart ones such as Einstein flee, and the less intelligent stay behind. I was told by a Hungarian that during their revolt of 1956, the best minds left the country. The more intelligent people are more aware that danger is coming, and are also more mobile, and they flee before it happens.
