I got up this morning with my coffee and, instead of getting on my computer as usual, I finished Anton Strout's Dead to Me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to read the second book when it comes out. It's about a man with psychometric powers who works for a secret organization called Department of Extraordinary Affairs. They fight again evil and keep the general public from knowing about the paranormal side of the world. The protagonist, Simon Canderous, made me nervous because I never knew what he was going to say or do next. He was a very likeable good guy but very impulsive. There weren't any slow parts in the book. It wasn't non-stop action but it flowed throughout the book to the end. This was book 71 for the year. Time to start book 1 for 2009 :)
