My guess is that Benegal will not be using the songs in full. Except maybe "Kadam kadam" or "Hum Dilli Dilli Jaayenge". I know most of us wouldn't be happy to see the songs fading in and out in parts. But that's the kind of film Bose is. I totally trust Benegal's judgement on that. I'm just glad that he decided to have a soundtrack released with this film! And what a gem it's turned out to be. Right now I'm falling in love with the subtle piano work in "Des ki mitti". Note the keys accompanying Sonu from 3:54 to 4:02. Sometimes its these simple touches that makes a composition so brilliant. ARR is just getting better and better...
