Hi Guys,
Apologies for the off-topic stuff.
Just thought I'd share my "finally breathe easy"
moment with everyone here. For years, I was nagged by
where Viju Shah has copied the tune for Gupt's title
music. Yes, half of it was Deep Forest, but the other
half, the parts that are not Deep Forest, really was
eating me up!! Finally, I was able to place the tune
and find it too. It is from the first album by Mike
Oldfield, called Tubular Bells, which came out in
1973. It was the intro of this album, which only had 2
songs, Tubular Bells Part 1 and Tubular Bells Part 2,
that the music is copied from. This is the same music
that opens the song "Mushkil Bada Yeh Pyar Hai" in
Gupt. Very nice tune.
By the way, I'd recommend Mike Oldfield's "Songs From
Distant Earth" to anyone who likes Enigma. A nice
spacy album.
Triply.
