hello eveybody.. ive been an ardent follower of u groupies n all ur messages...n to top it all...im also 1 of the biggest rahman fans around...i listen only to rahman's compositions n no other indian musician's. im always there to grab a copy of any of his offerings the day its released...wherever i am.. ok..now..the rising is out n quite expectedly..there r mixed views n reviews... if u ask me...lets give it some time guyz...we r talking about quality stuff here...unlike the other composers...rahman's in a different zone now n lets not expect commercial albums like gentleman or duet of muthu or any of his monstrous hits..im sure the tracks r situational n go with the flow of the movie...which is probably why some of us dont find the tracks appealing...lets not forget ...this is not a commercial movie n we cant expect luvvy-duvvy tracks or fast- paced numbers... chillax guyz...our rahman never fails to let us down...reviews r bound to differ...ive always felt that the people in the north r biased towards rahman's conpositions..they just cannot lap up quality stuff..but ofcourse our maestro has always come up trumps! for now..lets enjoy n relish mangal pandey...rahman has done an awesome job ...
