hi..
i guess no one is wrong as it is largely conditioning oriented perception u see......so there r no absolutes here.....( smile)....but using a fresh rhythm peice definately gives rise to some variation ( please dont call it a loop...u dont know what it means,apparently...haha!!!) definitely increases the worth of a song ....if we call it value addition ...yes it adds to the listenability of the song in terms of the freshness appeal and the repeat value...u will always get something new to hear in a freshly recorded rhythm as attempts will be made  not to make it sound the same!!!

thats about it i guess.

and as far as fitting or not of a new ' loop' goes ...all i can say is , a new shirt fits u much better than an 5 year old one with frayed collars ...right!!!
haha.

i think i have made a point here.
chill
jagdeep.

Subject: Dhandiyaa beats in Rising - need clarification

Hi All,

I came across lots of mails saying that the "Kadhalar Dhinam" beats
have been reused in the Holi song.. If I am not wrong, it is the
traditional beat that is used for "Dhaandhia" dance... If the
situation demands, then the beat has to be used... creating a new beat
loop would be unsuitable and would not fit the song...

This is my opinion.. correct me if i am wrong!

Regards,
Aravind

which sounds very stale methinks.
