reagrding u r starnge doubt.......whos the best........a.r rahman or illayraja,its like asking whos the best between Sachin Tendulkar and Kapil dev, whos the best between Ronaldo and Maradona.........whos the best between Amitab bachan and Sharukh Khan...........
all these pesonalities dominated in thier own times......and both are legends just same as a.r rahman and illayraja........
What makes A.R Rahman better than illayraja according to me......is each and every song of A.R Rahman is a masterpiece......and thats not the case with illayraja.......illayraja has many all time great melodies.......but he hasnt been 100% consisten like our A.R Rahman.....this is the on thing that seprates both......
