I agree. Roobaroooooo has been growing and growing
and growing ........ on me after every listen to it. Eah and every song has got
an amazing feel to it. I have also started loving "IK Omkaar" its awesome. The
only sad thing is its just around one and half minutes. To put it in plain words
in the past 5 or 6 years this is the only ARR album that I have listened to so
much. People on the group might talk abt other albums like "Meenaxi, yuva, etc".
These albums may be gr8 but I just could not connect to them. A couple of songs
from yuva were gud but as an album on the whole it did not satisfy me. RDB is
the one that has really gone into me. I just totally hooked onto it. My
IPOD is just playing RDB since the day I bought it.

Subject: [arr] ARR shows all his variety
in one album
He enters the Indian Film music director as a Jingler and
that is where a musician who is about to touch 40 next month reckons his
youth of Jingles. Guess the song in my mind Roobaroo. I feel an Ad kind
of music the picture is clear the song is on the move. Very
uniquely composed though its sad ppl might just fail to miss how amazing
this song is. But the more number of hearings may rate this song as numero
1. But wait dont stop here, songs one after another will get itself
rated as #1 but it will take me weeks to switch between songs. other
than Paathshaala(hindi) all songs lyrics are difficult to sing, I mean all
the songs are tight in its compostion and notes. That is why ARR is called
a genius and has a seperate place for him. IK Onkar, rarely do we get to
listen a devotional song and so far ARR is the only who takes bold
step in this category. The last heard devotional non- ARR was in
Virruddh and was great. Rang De Basanti: When the trailers were being aired
lot of comments were thrown. Guys take back your words many non ARR fans
were just waiting for the album to release. ARR creates an expectation not
just amongst his fans. Bangra sounded so fresh. it was time when
the repeated re mixes of bangra had reached the level of
saturation. Paatshala: ARR turns himself as a mentor to compose ROCK &
induce in Indian movies. rest is that you will hear this song in few
days getting played in cars and disco. Tu bin bataye: I confess never
will I be able to sing this song. Its so calm but tough in its notes. I
wonder how ARR was able to get the best from the singers. KhalBali: the
listening to this song itself creates khalbali, what is the female voice in
this song in the start. Is ARR using the voice bank of his YAMAHA (cud
somebody check if he has a TYROS) to generate the female voice. Ziddi
Ziddi.... the question to ARR is are you really Ziddi. This silent whizzkid
has many unexplored creativity and I am sure he is ziddi in using it and
will use it only where he thinks he really needs it. Khoon Chala: I feel
that I have heard this singer in some album / Ad song. I hope this song
will be used in the BGM. So dont complain it wa not used properly, the song
seems to be very situational. Be A Rebel: many comments say that there is
no difference in music. but I doubt music means its much beyond
instruments. the vocal note is changed and the tempo is varied to make the
groove. Oh oyi Oh oyi Lukka Chuppi: This is where ARR is called a music
director & great singer. It takes courage to convince the audience that
Lataji is now a veteran singer and is now old. I pity the Bollywood MDs
still expect Lataji to sing for young teenager songs. I am bound to this
song emotionally: In a few days I will be flying to see my parents after
about 1 and a half year, this one and a year so brought lot of changes to
life but cud not meet my parents. Also I might sound silly but this song
can be brought to Indian audience (mother) waiting for its genius kid
(ARR) who is reaching the heights conquering hearts
and the musical domain , the mom asking its kid to be here where the
kid says look mom your son has a lot to credit with, but still my happiness
still rests with you. WONDERFUL. None other than ARR cud have given better
renedition. Lalkaar: sounds situational but this is the first in Hollywood
I feel an attempt of this kind. the bass effects make the hot blood to
boil.
ARR does no mistakes in selecting the singers, he himself
being singer. esp Lataji. Lyrics: Prior getting the album in my hand I
was not happy selecting Joshi instead of Javed Akthar. the moment I got the
CD read the lyrics I was in joy the lyrics were great. What I miss
in this album: The first and foremost ARR's photo. 1.The mention of AM
Studio, Chennai, India. 2. R Naveen flute (but who is playing flute like
instrument in Lukka Chippi) 3. Shivamani's crazy drums Hozam is also great.
4. I still like to see H Sridhar in the Sound Engineer's list.
Now
ARR has done his work, what is our next move? In few weeks its ARR's Bday
and let each fan have his own copy of record and lets not listen to
pirated. What else cud be a better BDay gift than this?
Few questions
to be answered. Is KJ Singh a new recruit into Panchattan's family? Is
RDB recorded in the 7.1 technology because i felt the very unique 3D effect
in sound distribution.
