Hi what about cassettes? they are reachable to any one but sometimes cassettes too bear the prices as Rs.70/- 75/- etc. then poor fans will go for shut it forget it & get it through illegal mode. And another way for ARR to reach even the last person is, in tamil what they as dappakoothu, ARR has to give one such item in every album he scores. In hindi what the hindiites usually feel in other MDs collection and so one such item in ARR's pocket. Then this will make the last person to listen & feel the pulse of ARR's music that is abundantly present in other songs and slowly ARR can pull all the masses. Thanks. Pankaj

But I have realised the impact of that after growing with this
GROUP... and started buying his albums..infact older ones too..
Its worth the money though they are usually high priced( which is one
strong reason that contributes to piracy)...
This is one thing that always worries me..to reach the masses..any
product needs to be cheaper..but Rahman is increasingly getting
recognised as belonging to the RICH and POWERFUL (High quality stuff
always does that)... still a common man can connect himself to
Ilayaraja more easily than Rahman..(Thats a GREAT achievement!!),
though we all know what Rahman is...
May be lots of articles on Rahman in regional and local magazines
should change that....and concerts like karaikkal one..
contemplation continues...
