hi friends.. i grabbed my copy of gf cd this afternoon...at first listenin i felt that only innisai and theeyil were great...the others were that kind a songs which would take time to grow..but on the very second listenin i started likin all songs ....i listened to them so repeatedly that till 7 in the evenin i was listenin again and again...evey time i heard...the more i was drawn to the album..i got instantly addicted... katril....beautiful hauntin melody which is peppy and foot tappin and grows in u after 3 listenin kamma-surprsin song from rahman...a sure chartbuster...heavy beats combined with the high pitched voice of the female singer works out wonders...with rahman touch.. ilamai-foot tappin and a peppy number which impresses u instantly..another sure hit deepavali-folk number ..typically rahmanish...the children voices add to the flavour of the song... the female voice especially at high pitches is great...superb song innisai-my pick of the album...a brilliant composition...no words to describe...mahathi and naresh s voice are apt and the song gives hair raisin moments
theeyil-another awesome song to the list of rahman sung songs..his voice suites the mood so pefectly that the song haunts u for a long time overall...superb album which is a potential hit...will grow in u only after a couple of complete listenings...but will make u hooked to it.. i think that the reason behind why there were so many remixes!!! jai rahman!!!
