Varaha Nadhikkarai Oram from Sangamam too is in the same raaga. Swapnil had mentioned this before. Sung by Shankar Mahadevan brilliantly..

i was listening to the instant karma remix of the song  sung by Mehnaz. suddenly i got stuck with the line "jhindi da, sevd da sahi shaabaz kalander" which was really famililiar tune and it resembles the lines "anpukkani arichuvadi" of "vaarayo thozhi" from jeans.
the whole song has feel of the mast calnder if not in the bgm.
what do u think?...
