Hi Ajit,
hmm......do u still feel that ur missing that type of music after listenin to
"Munbe vaa" or "Tere Bina". i think u should reconsider bout it. Rahman is
still providing romantic songs. but the number of the songs are quite less than
the early days. what he can do buddy, the filmmakers wanna more foot tapping
musics compared to the romantic. Alaypayuthe (Saathya) is a love oriented movie
buddy. of course the songs will be very romantic. u cant expect that kind of
songs in films like Rang de Basanti or GF. i think ur listenin too much to
alaypayuthe, hehe...r u fall in love with some1? hehe...chill out buddy. jz to
put ur legs. hehe..lol.

as conclusion, Rahman still providing Romantic songs. but the amount is less
than the earlier movies. it is because or the requirements of the Directors &
producers.

Naina Milaike makes this soundtrack one of the most complete and
"meaty" soundtracks by Rahman. Music was a hit, movie was a hit.
Rahman scores some of his best work for romantic films with good
directors. Hope he scores music for more romantic films in the future
with notable directors like Shaad Ali. And what an amazing sound
quality this soundtrack has! So crisp, clean, tremendous surround
sound effects. I am missing that type of sound from Rahman's most
recent efforts, where there is more of a "crowded" feel to the
arrangements....missing the soft warm pads, crisp ghungrus, bells,
claps......where each sound would stand out and hit you. This was
brought to my attention fully by a good friend and another devoted
Rahman fan from this group.
