Times of India Saturday edition of Pune has an interesting article on Shivmani - The DRUMMER, who was in Pune yesterday regarding a concert in which he accompanied a Katthak dance programme.
Shivmani answered to the question of the journalist regarding "complex situations arising during movie songs". He mentioned that for Jodha- Akbar movie, ARRahman asked Shivmani to replicate effect of almost 10000 drummers playing simultaneously and that was a challange. Shivmani says that with the help of 10 additional drummers, he achieved what Rahman wanted. It will be indeed an interesting piece of music worth waiting. When is Jodha Akbar music releasing ?
