A.R.Rahman who is on a high after the praise worthy composition in Oscar
finalist Water, has many exciting projects on hand. Ghajini is one such
project starring Aamir Khan and Ayesha Takhia. Ghajini is the remake of
Tamil movie of the same name directed by Murugadoss who is wielding the
megaphone for the Hindi version too.

Tamil Ghajini had Harris Jeyaraj doing the music and one of the
ingredients for the movie's success was its music and background score. Now
everyone is waiting eagerly on how A.R.Rahman is going to surpass the
benchmark set by Harris in Tamil Ghajini. It really has to be the best of
best to beat the original track.
Aamir Rahman joining hands have also added to the expectations of the
public. The duo was involved in many hits that include Lagaan, Rang De
Basanti and Mangal Pandey.
It is learnt that A.R.Rahman has started work on Ghajini and discussions
with director Murugadoss is on. Aamir Khan who is currently busy with shoots
of "Taare Zameen Par" is expected to join the discussions on Ghajini soon.
Prasoon Joshi is penning the songs for Ghajini. Prasoon and Rahman had
come together for Rang De Basanti that won the film fare awards for best
music, best lyrics, best actor and best movie. So can the trio of
A.R.Rahman, Aamir Khan and Prasoon strike gold again?
