I believe its a bit early to review a rahman album this soon based on a few listenings...and i am sure that the album will make it to the 'rahmania' list. BUT, [not that big 'but',still..] , i am wondering why i am missing the rahman magic in this album;unlike those crystal in his previous works..i am a diehard fan of rahman since 1991 and till this moment,i havent been disappointed once..Being a fan,I can say one thing, this is not what i expect from rahman.. Most of the Bottom layer rythms & percs are directly taken from Apple Loops [not even processed]. 'Kelamal' song is a good song,,but resembles a lot of the "Anjaaanaa,,,anjaaani' song from Yuva...ANd the 'marlyn monroe' song.. i dont want to believe it came from rahmanji...With some absurd & sub-standard lyrics [eg: saturday night partykku pokalaam variya[that to,in loop! horrible]..Valayappatti is worth listening..naresh is good...music is purely rahmanic..i love this song...
