One more feather in Rahman's cap IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, November 20, 2007] A.R. Rahman won the `Best music composer award' for his work in Mani Ratnam's `Guru'. The award was presented at the annual Bollywood Music and Fashion Awards ceremony held at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City recently.
Rahman could not be present at the venue to collect the award, as he was away from the town. Noted playback singer Alisha Chinoy was presented with the `Best female singer of the year' award for her song `It's Rocking' in the film `Kya Love Story Hai', which also won the `Best song of the year award'. A grand musical show was the highlight of the function. The likes of Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sukhbir, among others, performed at the musical show. **** also just read his interview the golden age it was great!!!
