Check the archives for stuff like this :) As you keep watching, you will find the BGM that was later used as Aa Sikku from Gangmaster (on flutes). In Bombay, you will find a BGM that was used as So Gaye Hain, and also the Marathi/Gujrati (?) Folk song that was used in Indira/Priyanka (Yeh Jaanti Paanti Kaisi). Except for the last two cases, I find the BGMs better than the songs.
