The jinxed project seems to be finally taking off.

Shekhar Kapur [Images<http://search.rediff.com/imgsrch/default.php?MT=shekhar
kapur>
] will make his long-delayed project *Time Machine*. Only this time, it will
star Ranbir Kapoor

], instead of Aamir Khan
[Images<http://search.rediff.com/imgsrch/default.php?MT=aamir khan>
].

The initial cast also included Naseeruddin Shah
[Images<http://search.rediff.com/imgsrch/default.php?MT=naseeruddin
shah>
], Rekha and Raveena Tandon

tandon>
]. The film has been in the making since the early 1990s, and did not take
off because Kapur got busy with other projects.

*Time Machine*, incidentally, seems to be an unlucky subject for Hindi
films. Ram Gopal Varma had also hoped to make a film called* Time
Machine*with Shah Rukh Khan

But it did not happen.

Lets hope Shekhar Kapur meets with better success this time.
