Robot, the much hyped project of Shankar had a great blow with the sudden demise of its script writer Sujatha. As Sujatha was associated with the project from its early stage of inception, it was difficult to find a suitable replacement. Now the team has found the perfect replacement in Balakumaran who has a special place in Tamil literary field. [Balakumaran] His creations have always touched the chords of many Tamilians all over the world. He has a rich experience of having worked with Shankar in his earlier films like Kadhalan and Gentleman. Secondly he had written the dialogues for Rajini's Badshah too and had impressed him.
