I conceived the idea of *Minsara Kanavu* from *The Sound Of Music* and an opera. Actually, it was not planned. Someone told me that Prabhu Deva was free on certain days, and whether I could do something with him. I discussed this with A R Rahman. As we kept talking, Rahman suggested that I direct a film with Prabhu Deva.
