Hello rahmanaddicts, For the first time in my life, since Roja(1992), I have come across original audio cds of rahman in my country (mauritius). By originals, i mean in the original packaging, with inside leaflets n lyrics/photos along with the ringtone code for sms. Wow, its as if I've seen rahman bro in person!!!
Imagine my excitement, cause all the time, i've seen only cd box with cd inside and with only a cd cover. always the same cd box. The people at the cd store used to say, it comes like this from malaysia/singapore. Its only recently i had a friend coming from chennai and bought me a whole collection and I had a feel how orginals are. Today while wandering in a south african distributor (GAME), i hopped in the cd section and saw ada and jaane tu cds. I could not believe my eyes!!! I did not even looked at the price and popped both in my shopping cart. Now i feel im in the same league as you guys in india having the chance to be the first to be proud owners of rahman latest albums ;-) I HOPE FOR all next albums too. But I think it will be only for hindi albums unfortunately... So here's a bit my laments to appreciate rahman's masterpieces...wanted to share that with you. Niven(Mauritius)
