I listen only to his Hindi songs, and I don't have any problem with our man re-using his Tamil/ Telugu/ Kannada/ Malayalam songs into Hindi.
I rather welcome it because this way I get to hear his music that I had not heard before and I would not have heard ever if he has not brought them in Hindi. Even for albums like Thiruda Thiruda, whose Hindi movie was never released, I loved it and Chandralekha is indeed one of my all time favs. I would have missed its divine beauty had ARR not released the song in Hindi. I think this will always remain a genuine point of concern for any bilingual multilingual person when he hears a song in a different language that (s)he has already heard in a different language. So, learn to live with it guys and gals. This problem is coming only because of your great ability to use and enjoy more than one language. -- Rawat On 6/23/2008 6:34 AM India Time, _vimaljk_ wrote: > ARR has reused tamil songs in hindi before, such as remaking Nayagara > from En Swaasa Katre into Que Se Sera from Pukar..as well as Thaniye > from Rhythm into Nachle from Lakeer...he even changed a lot of the > musical arrangements and gave a different vibe to them..so don't worry > so much that 2 of the tracks are based off of Meenaxi..if it were the > WHOLE album..i'd be pissed too..but it's not...maybe ARR found a > unique way to change the songs up...so let's just wait and HEAR > > --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "naztitude" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: >> As much as I wish to be silent im forced to talk here.
